Taro-Raja is accompanying his lord to a flower party, but he has forgotten to bring along any
flowers. His lord orders him to go off and fu1d some, and as he does so a villain - who, hearing
about the flower party, thinks it might be his chance to make a quick buck - appears on stage,
carving some flowers. The foolish Taro-Raja addresses the villain and attempts to relieve him of
his flowers.
This play calls to mind a Japanese proverb similar in spirit to the English, ''Shutting the stable
door after the horse has bolted,H It is a very popular play, full of action.
