Watanabe no Tsuna and Hirai Housho visit Minamoto no Raiko at his sick-bed. In reality his
illness is being caused by the malevolent influence of an evil ''earth-spider:I The earth-spider
appears in the guise of a priest and casts its web over the prostrated Raiko. But he grasps his
sword 'vHizamaru," and fights it. The spider is injured and flees.
Tsuna and Housho follow the trail ofblood leading to the spider's lair, and take its life.
